Yes, a special children’s menu is available in the restaurant. We also have a range of food options on our standard menus that we are sure younger people will enjoy. Smaller portions of certain dishes are available on request.
Yes – gift vouchers are available for both the hotel and restaurant. They are available to buy online or can be purchased from the hotel reception.
Breakfast is served daily at the following times:
Monday – Friday: 7:00 am – 9am
Saturday – Sunday: 8:00am – 10am
Bank Holiday Mondays: 8:00am – 10.00am
Check-in is between 2pm and 10pm.
We request that you kindly check-out by no later than 11:00am. We reserve the right to make additional charges for unarranged late checkouts.
If you would like to request an early check-in or late check-out, please call us on 01900 61443 and we will do our best to accommodate you. If your room is unavailable outside the standard check-out and check-in times, you are welcome to enjoy a drink or snacks in our comfortable lounge.
Dogs are welcome on our outside terrace, where you can enjoy drinks or a meal in good weather. However, we are unable to accept dogs in either the hotel or the restaurant unless they are service dogs.
Please contact us on 01900 61443 as soon as possible if you need to cancel or change a booking or reservation. Restaurant or accommodation bookings made via our website may be cancelled by clicking on the cancellation link on your confirmation email. Cancellations may be subject to charges.
If you have made your reservation through Booking.com, Expedia, or any other third-party booking agency, you should cancel your reservation through them.
Yes, we have six EV charging stations in our car park. These are available on a first-come first-served basis. Guests with electric vehicles wishing to use our charging ports should download the Fuuse app. Charges apply.
We request that you respect other EV drivers and only use these spaces when you need to charge your vehicle.
We do not have an on-site gym, swimming pool or spa. Gyms and swimming pools are both available in the nearby towns of Cockermouth and Workington, just a few minutes’ drive away. There are also a number of spas nearby within the Lake District National Park.
We are able to host wedding breakfasts for small parties. However, as we do not yet have a standalone event room, we are currently unable to host weddings or evening receptions with entertainment.
Yes, we can host funeral teas, memorials and wakes. Your funeral director can make these arrangements for you or you can enquire directly for further information.
We can host parties and gatherings but please be aware that, as we only have one restaurant, we cannot always guarantee restaurant exclusivity. Please enquire directly and we can go through possible options for your event.
