Covid-19 – Customer Safety and Advice

We fully understand that at this time you may still be worried or uncertain about whether you should travel, so we hope the following will go some way to alleviate your concerns.

Anyone who has visited the hotel previously will know we pride ourselves in offering an immaculate service – please be assured this will not change and we will follow government guidelines closely to ensure staff and customer safety.

We would like to reassure you that the health and wellbeing of our staff and guests are our top priority, and whilst our normal daily cleaning routines are robust and thorough, heightened cleanliness will be observed with extra vigilance sanitising all surfaces the public come into contact with, in particular door handles, push plates, table surfaces and card terminals; and in guest bedrooms, TV remotes, telephone keypads, light switches and other high contact surfaces.

We are, of course, encouraging all staff and guests to wash their hands thoroughly and often, especially after visiting or using the toilet - have provided hand sanitizing stations throughout staff and public areas.

We plan to keep you all safe and healthy by implementing the following:

  • Installation of sanitizing stations in both public and staff areas.
  • Encouraging staff and guests to wash hands thoroughly and often, making sure these facilities are readily available and frequently serviced.
  • Heightened cleaning and sanitising of all public and staff areas to be carried out on a regular basis.
  • Ensuring all staff have access to PPE should they need or wish to use it.
  • Protective screens are being installed in high guest/staff contact areas.
  • Practising social distancing by reducing contact between staff and guests as much as is possible or practical; introduction of staff teams whereby the same employees always work together, and where social distancing is not possible, side by side working will be implemented.
  • Hotel bedrooms will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized following guest departures, paying special attention to high contact areas such as TV remotes, light switches, door handles and other high contact areas. All linen is laundered at high temperatures as recommended and according to government guidelines.
  • Restaurant tables have been spaced to comply with current social distancing guidelines, and guests will be asked not to stand at the bar as we will be operating by table service only, including breakfast.
  • Restaurant and lounge tables will be thoroughly sanitized after each use.
  • Secure online payment or payment by credit/debit card will be encouraged.

We sincerely hope everyone using the hotel facilities, staff and guests alike, can act sensibly and responsibly so that life can continue as normally as possible, given the challenging situation we find ourselves in. We also simply request if you are not feeling well or are displaying symptoms of Coronavirus, kindly postpone your visit; we will be more than happy to rearrange your travel dates or cancel or re-arrange your table reservation for when you are fully recovered.
