How to Find Us

The Melbreak Hotel and Conservatory Restaurant is conveniently located between Workington and Cockermouth, on the A595 as it leaves the A66.

From Workington

Follow the Stainburn bypass up to Bridgefoot Roundabout and then take the third exit onto the A595. You will pass the hotel and there is a right turn shortly after that will bring you back round to the front of the building.

From Penrith, Cockermouth and Keswick

Continue heading east on the A66 until you reach Bridgefoot Roundabout just outside Workington and about 3.5 miles from Cockermouth. Take the first exit and then the first right on the A595.

From Whitehaven

Follow the A595 road north, through Lillyhall and towards the Stainburn bypass. Just before reaching Bridgefoot Roundabout at the top of the bypass, there is a left turn, which will take you to the hotel and restaurant. If you drive past the hotel while still on the main road, you have gone too far. In this case, do a full turn on the roundabout and retrace your route.

Parking

There is plenty of guest parking on site, including six Fuuse EV charging points (charges apply). When arriving, please turn left just before the hotel building to find our car park.
